Ergonomic Assessments

We offer two types of Ergonomic Assesments to provide recommendations and education on how to improve your workstation.  

Comprehensive Ergonomic Assessments

  • Recommended for first time assessments 
  • 45 min to 1 hour, in-person or remote via secure video conference
  • Review job description and health concerns
  • On-site or directed equipment adjustments
  • A comprehensive report is provided with 3 to 5 business days with a detailed summary of healthly work habits, individualized stretches and equipment recommendations
  • Quotes and sourcing can be provided upon request  

 

Workstation QuickFix

  • Recommended for follow up assessments or someone who has had a previous assessment and has moved work stations
  • 10 to 15 minute review of each workstation to ensure proper ergonomic setup
  • Immediate adjustments to posture, chair, desk and monitor positioning as needed
  • Equipment recommendations, if applicable
  • Each individual will receive a 1-2 page checklist summarizing adjustments made and key recommendations for ongoing improvement 
  • Must be booked for a minimum of three clients

 

Training Sessions

We provide interactive and practical training sessions tailored to meet the unique needs of your workplace. Our goal is to empower your team with the knowledge and tools to work safely and efficiently, reducing the risk of injuries and enhancing overall productivity.

  • Stretch and Movement Break Programs: Guided group stretches designed to promote flexibility and reduce strain.
  • Job-Specific Training: Customized sessions addressing ergonomic needs for specific tasks or roles.
  • Injury Prevention Education: Insights into early warning signs of discomfort and how to address them effectively.

Whether you're looking to enhance workplace safety, improve employee well-being, or comply with ergonomic standards, our training sessions deliver measurable results.

Job Demands Analysis

A detailed on-site analysis, evaluating physical, environmental and cognitive requirements for a specific position.  These reports can increase efficiency and streamline return to work planning and job suitability for new hires.  

 

A Job Demands Analysis includes the following for one position:

  • 3 to 4 hour on-site job shadow and interview

  • A detailed and comprehensive report describing job tasks, risk factors, critical job demands and modified duties

  • Report is provided within 2 weeks

  • Reviews are recommended every 3 years to update reports as required

Functional Capacity Evaluations

A comprehensive functional test designed to objectively measure the maxmimum safe functional abilities of a client across standardized tasks.  These evaluations can determine if a client is safe to return to work after an injury and make further recommendations.  They can also be conducted as Post-Offer Pre-Employment agreements to ensure job suitability. 

 

Assessments can include 1 or 2 days of testing over 3 to 4 hours each day.  A detailed and comprehensive report is provided with results and recommendations as required.
